weezel Asked: This morning I woke up with my hands over my head viloently shaking my head?
Every morning I get up to walk the dog and then sleep another hour or two. This morning i did that and then when I woke up the second time, I was having a terrible dream that I was having a bad argument with my mom. All i remember i screaming to her "your just gonna sell me out like that?" or something, basically she had betrayed me in some huge way. Well this went on for some time and when I woke up my arms were over my head suspended in air ( i don't sleep like that) and my head was shaking violently like possessed people in the movies. Like worse than any rock n roll head banger iv ever seen and with a bad head ack.
Upon waking up I didnt notice anything odd except how relieved i was to be awake. Is it possible i had some sort of stress induce stroke trying desperately to wake myself up?
I know I do occationally have partial lucid dreams, like I know thats not my normal realm of existance but not enough to take control like some people claim they can

The reason I’m here is because Google is my church! It has the answer to everything. I googled, “woke up with head shaking”. Yesterday, I barely ate. I had a big slice a pizza and a Cesar salad.; that’s it and very unusual for my diet. It gave me a headache mid day and I took Excedrine Migrane as I always do at the onset of a headache or migrane. Of course because I continued to be too busy to eat SOMETHIING my headache progressed into a full swing migrane. I finally had that piece of pizza round 8pm but the migrane didn’t subside. Finally at midnight I enjoyed a salad and went home. I avoided a second dose of Excedrine due to the caffeine issue and simply consumed plenty off soda water and lemonade and dozed off normal with no migraines disturbing my sleep. I slept peacefully until about 6am when my significant other left for work. I played games on the computer before falling back to sleep and must have been sleeping for less than an hour when I woke up from a frightening dream about me taking pictures of my daughter when a bee suddenly flew into my hair near the backside of my head. I assumed it had stung me because my head started to violently shake and I realized I was dreaming and remained calm until I woke myself up to find my head my physically vibrating back and forth. I thought I was dying! Just before panic set in the shaking came to a hault. It all happened so fast. From the dream to the complete alertness of what had happened. Google has let me down in a small way because I got only these forums’ references and nothing actually linked to a professional know-it-all. Emotionally, I don’t think this is anything to fret about. I have vivid dreams and I’m convinced the physical shaking was nothing more than a response to my dreaming and fear of bees. The migrane and light eating may have a part in all this too.
