Ok, so I've been trying to astral project for a while now, and last night when I was doing it, I felt like I got my leg out up until my knees, and my eyes were twitching, but I couldn't get anything more than that after lying down there for an hour. Was I really close? What do I do to make myself have a full OBE?

A couple days ago I went into sleep paralysis, I have gone into SP about 6 times before, and I wanted to test how far I can go. I calmed down and tried to raise my body starting with my fingers, eventually I was standing next to my bed and I turned and saw myself sleeping. I knew that I had done an OBE but as soon as I tried to take a couple steps the sensations were too much to handle and I couldn't take it anymore. Next thing I know I wake up a couple min later to find my nose bleeding. I haven't done it since because I'm not sure if that has happened to anyone else but can anyone tell me why it happened?
P.S. It's not rare for me to have a lucid dream, before I would have it every other day but now it's about once or twice a week

Hi, so I wanna try lucid dreaming via the WILD technique (if you have a better techqnque please tell) so the thing is, almost every week I get atleast 1 or more sleep paralasys, when I wake up I'm paralayzed , I can't move but I found ou you get hallucination etc but I don't get hallucination, I used to but I don't now. So my firt question is why don't I get any hallucination whilst in sleep paralsis, the only scary part for me is not being able to move, nothing else, there's no sound etc, so why?
My second question is how can I take this advantage and have a lucid dream? Not an astral projection/OBE but a lucid dream?
And how can I get sleep paralasis when I just go to bed?
And do you have any methods for me? And 1 final thing is I don't know what to write in my dream journel, like do I write the over view of my dream or what? And are there any medication or food I can buy at the pharmacy to make my dreams more vivid? Thx and please answer all thx

So lately I have had dreams about going into astral pojection. So I normally have sleep paralysis at least 1-2 times a month all year long since 11-12, and i know in order to go into an OBE sleep paralysis is the first step and there is always this vibration feeling during SP. I know what it feels like to wake up from a sleep paralysis and when I woke up from these dreams of astral projection my body was heavy and i felt this vibration feeling does anyone know what this may mean? does it mean I had an OBE? or did I just dream of it?

So I was laying in bed. I was trying to have an obe. I fell asleep for about 2 seconds. And I thought wait, im not standing up. Then I woke up and felt REALLY INTENSE vibrations and felt like I was rising out of my body. I also hear screaming and stuff. But I got scared and thought what if a demons in the room and sunk back into my body. It scared the **** outta me.

Doing OBE's has a lot of times my way to inducing lucid dreams, what I'm doing is I attempt to fall down beside the bed then my body just fells down and when I stood up I'm in the dream scene, but one time I did this and unusual thing happened, instead of falling down and the floor and waking to the dream, I just fell for minutes into this abyss, what happened? then I got nervous that something went wrong. I guess I need a new OBE movement, I think its crazy falling down the floor, I didn't expect'd I'd be falling for long. Does anyone know any OBE where it I'm might not get into something terrible? or Techniques? somewhat Tips to my method?

I periodically get a cases of sleep paralysis, which at first was a very frustrating and frightening occurrence. I have recently began controlling this through recognizing it and subsequently making myself relax.
Twice now I have been able to enter into lucid dreams, which I usually awaken from because of the excitement from controlling my dream.
And again twice, on two separate occasions, I have had the luck of trying to achieve an OBE (out of body experience). Once, as I was concentrating on leaving my body, I saw a very bright light. It was nothing similar to experiences that people claim when having a near death experience. (Imagine looking at the sun with your eyes closed, yet without the redness of the light shining through the eyelids. This is the best way I can describe it). The second time, it felt as if I came spiraling out of my right eye. I could see my bedroom in its full waking form, but then my eyes felt as if they were starting to open, and it ended just as abruptly as it had began.
So here is my question:
With the first experience, was I moving close to an OBE? Is that how it can start? Did I not do something, or did I do something wrong? Any advice for my next attempt during an onset of sleep paralysis? What was the bright light that I was witnessing.
Also, considering the second time. I know it may have been a dream, but does that relate to anyone else's experience? And why my right eye? Is there a way to strengthen my "skills" for an OBE?
Any advice and shared experiences is greatly welcome. I have done extensive research, but nothing seems to quench the thirst of my questions and curiosity. THANK YOU ahead of time!

This "expirience" had happened a little over a month ago.
It was going on 5 in the morning and I was in a deep sleep until something had awoken me. I had tried to lift my head and body off of my bed to use the bathroom but I was frozen solid. After a couple more tries of moving I tried to call for my mom who was sleeping in the next room but I couldn't open my mouth. And then finally I felt a heavy pressure sensation (almost like someone sitting on the middle of my back) that felt warm on the middle of my back and when I tried to shake it off I had then felt "something" tickled my left arm that was hanging off the bed. It felt playful but it scared me silly. This had went on back and forth for maybe another ten minutes and when it had stopped I was suddenly able to move again and I jumped up and ran out my room in fear. I had never felt anything like this before and I'm CERTAIN it wasn't a dream because I was AWAKE and fully aware of everything that was going on. When I left my room I went into the living room to sit down and watch tv to take my mind off of what happened but I couldn't. After I had sat there for a while I felt like I had to turn my head upwards to the ceiling and when I did I saw a blue-ish white circular orb. I had never seen anything like it before and I couldn't find the source of the light, which was even creepier. It had lingered there for a long time and abruptly dissapered when my mother came in to sit on the couch. So, to be honest I'm not sure what to make of all this. Has anyone had a similiar expirience.?

So last night I had my first OBE and it was pretty amazing especially the exit.. I just woke up this morning didn't move a muscle closed my eyes decided to try it and BAM crazy vibrations and noises I couldnt even imagine! Wanna do it again so bad 
What are some cool things to try while doing it?
Is there a limit on how often you should try it ?
PS I know there's disagreements on here about whether its actually in your imagination or a real seperate experience but please put that aside for now we can all agree its just pretty damn cool whatever it is!

So, I've been practicing lucid dreaming for a year or two now. Now that I can remember all of my dreams, I am usually able to identify if the dream is real or not.
But every time I do, it's like… I can't move my body. I am completely aware of the dream and all of its details, yet it's like I have no control of my movement. I can look around and think rationally, yet I can't move AT ALL.
Next thing I know, I fall out of the dream.
It's like… I can feel myself laying in my bed, but I can feel myself in the dream at the same time.
It's like, underneath my lids, the dream is fully there. I can feel my bed and all the details, yet I can go through the dream. I just lack total motor control, except for my eyes.
I know I'm not getting too excited (because after many lucid attempts, I have done so successfully without getting too excited). I've mastered keeping control of my emotions and such, preventing an ejection caused by excitement.
Do you guys have any tips for me to help me move my body in the dream?

I've read some articles online about lucid dreaming yesterday and successfully reached sleep paralysis. That's when I heard a buzzing noise, freaked out, then opened my eyes. Only after a while did I switch a position. Then fall asleep normally.
I did some research today and found out that the buzzing noise is the transition between my waking state to dreaming state. Is that true?
Also I've read some stuff on sleep paralysis paranoia and now I'm scared to try again. However, I really want to lucid dream. So is sleep paralysis a necessary step to lucid dreaming? If so, under what circumstances would there be paranoia? How do I freak out less during sleep paralysis paranoia? Is paranoia really worth experiencing for lucid dreaming?
I'm an atheist. I think paranoia has something to do with religion, but please correct me if I'm wrong!
I'd also like to know the relationships/differences/similarities between the following: sleep paralysis, lucid dreaming, OBE, and astral projection
