Asked: Can someone tell me more about astral projection?
Basically all i know about it, is that you're spirit leaves your body. If you think AP is fake, dont bother commenting about it. Anyways, I want to know more about AP since lately I've been having a lot of lucid dreams and sleep paralysis. What is astral projection exactly? How does astral projection work? How do you achieve it? Is it harmful or risky? If so, then how?
Asked: What’s the difference between Obe and astral projection?

Asked: Suffocating Lucid Dreams?
For a couple of years now I have been having Lucid dreams, I dont have them everyday but I still have them every few month or so. So for a while now I have been experiencing suffocation in my Lucid dreams, Ive had maybe 4-5 suffocating lucid dreams in the past 2-3 years., I think I get them every 6 months or so. But anyways I had one yesterday and I just really wanted to know whats up with these.
Im just going to explain the one I had yesterday, I fell asleep in the day on my bed, So it started into a nice dream but then it drastically changed, I saw myself laying on my bed with my eyes barely open looking at my covers and bed, I thought I was awake, the thing is I could ONLY barely move my head, thats when I realized I couldnt breathe like I was trapped under my covers or something, so I moved my head a little and noticed one of my closets look weird so I realize I was still in this dream, in the dream I supposedly heard my mom come home with food (since she usually does that on the weekends) so I tried to yell at her to help wake me up, when I heard my voice my eyes shot open (in the dream) my voice sounded so raspy like I lost it or somethin. I tried yelling again but my voice got tired, so I kept repeating to myself I wanted to wake up, and I kept desperately trying to move my hand to get it to move the covers out of my face but it wouldnt move, I tried so hard like I was trying to lift a heavy thing, I tried moving the rest of my body too but not even my head would move again! Then, I stopped, and calmly tried to make myself blink, since I have practiced a bit about making myself blink in dreams to wake me up this was the step that always worked, so I woke up blinking but the covers were barely touching me not close enough to suffocate me.
In past suffocating dreams, I do recall that I always try to scream, I always desperately try to move my hand, and then I blink. I have had multiple scary, sad, and depressing to the point where I wake crying. Whats going on?
Asked: Why does everything feel like a dream?
A couple days ago i was feeling just fine and for some reason everything just felt like I was in a dream,. Everything and everyone i look at just looks fake. Like I went over my friends house for a couple days and while i was there I didnt understand how i got there. My vision is a little blurry and thats about it. I dont know whats wrong with me. Im not crazy lol, ive never take drugs, i dont drink and im in 10th grade. This feeling makes me really scared and I dont know what to do….Additional info: I've been trying to do something called Lucid dreaming for a while and all this started happening after i found out about it. Ive never actually been in a lucid dream though but ive tried. And this also started around the time ive been looking at videos about creepy things in video games (example Polybius and things of that nature). Idk of any of those things have to do with my problem but whatever. Help please

Asked: ive been lucid dreaming like everynight…?
okay ive had lucid dreams now for some time but recently theyve been happening every night and it only varies between a few different dreams, however the details of the dreams are most the time a little different because im controlling them obviously.
ive been trying to figure out what im meant to do in them, they are soooo vivid and it feels like im actually there like 100% except the whole time i know im dreaming, and ill wake up every like hour thoughout the night only to fall right back into the dream :/ after i get up and maybe go to the toilet and have a sip of milk or something..
in the dream i had last night and the last 2 night before this ive been on a very very large dock and theres all these people there who are pretty much following me and keeping asking me to save them and the whole time im in the dream im constantly running around trying to figure out what these people want ?? they arent very helpfull though they just are all in panic thinking they are going to die or something..
not last night but the night before all the people in the dream were laying down in pairs for some reason all scattered throughout this dock full of shipping containers and i was someone pulling each one of their souls out one by one, i was using some kind of psychic power :/ in my head at the time of the dream i was thinking i was doing it by drawing out the others orgone energy, the same way you can make clouds disappear. anyyywayys, i woke up from this to amasssssiive shock!! i was in sleep paralysis and its never been this intense !! i hear what sounded like a very powerful vacuum behind my head and an amazing amount of vibrations ! the strangest part was it 100% felt like my entire soul was being stretched/pulled out of my body and immediately i began fighting it. it didnt feel like the astral projection vibrational stage at all ! i honestly thought that i would die if i let it leave (i am fully concious and awake at this stage) i couldnt move a bit yet i was pulling my soul back into my body by will and it really felt like it almost left i could feel my arms get longer and my chest wast pulled all the way down to where my physical bodies lower abdomen was it was easily the scariest moment of my life.. and i aint a ***** haha ive been thought alot of frightening obe's and have had my fair share of encounters with shadow beings for the better/younger years of my life even waking up with completely unexplainable scratches all around my lower back. but yeah this was fuuuaarrkked !anyone know why, or what is cause me to have these dreams every night ? its really ruining my sleep pattern, because as i said i would wake up like every half and hour to and hour sometimes every 15 minutes and the whole dream i had just been dreaming is right in the tip of my head and its all i can think about whilst trying to get comfortable again..help?
Asked: Lucid Dream backfired?
Recently a good friend opened my mind to Lucid dreaming and the concept had me interested so i thought i would give it a shot. iv never had recurring dreams before and i only have a handfull that i can recall the events as i believe they had some significance because i could actually remember them.
last night was my first attempt not at lucid dreaming but by just realising and accepting i was dreaming, however it did not turn out as i expected. in the dream i was in a small damp room (like a scene out of saw) with a few familiar faces. the dream was not a nightmare but the setting did not make it exactly pleasent. i cant remember the words that were said between me and the friends that appeared in my dream as that part is blurry. anyway the bit that has me concerned occured i think when i realised i was asleep and dreaming, the original dream disapeared and i felt a sharp knock on my leg, all i could see was darkenss with a shimmering vision like it was shaking. something was whispering in my head but the words were incomprehensible, it kind of reminded me of the whispering of sauron in the lord of the rings movies. it was really creepy and i felt like i was possessed by something. i knew i was asleep as in my head i was constantly telling myself to wake up, i was in a state of panic i tried moving to wake up but i couldnt, i tried shouting out but could only produce a whimpeing sound which i could hear perfectly. the dark shimer and whisper became more vivid and loud and i was beginning to accept that i was being possessed by something when i managed to move my legs and wake up. it was 5 in the morning when i woke up and i was too afraid to go back to sleep. im not sure if this occured because i tried to exeperiment with lucid dreaming or if it was just a coincidence. im not a big believer in the paranormal but this genuinly felt like something took control of my body. if anyone has any useful information or a similar experience feel free to share.

Asked: i think i had a lucid dream?
i just got out of a relationship two days ago and i REALLY wanted it to work out. now im trying to move on ive been fine after talking with my friends for the past few days and i had a dream last night. i only saw my ex in certain parts of the dream. and it took place at mygrandmother's apartment who passed away five years ago. but the dream was mostly about me and my friend just hanging out doing normal stuff and then im at the pool there and people are lined up having a race and im against my ex and i drop out cause i dont feel like putting up with racing him. then me and my friend are doing friend stuff like girls do talk and walking around the neighborhood. and it seemed that my grandmother let my friend borrow the apartment and we are getting ready to leave and. her parents have already left and we are riding out of the neighborhood with my grandmother to head back to the town where we live. and i get this erg to jump from the car and run back up the hill and past the other condos and see my ex and hold him and kiss him and make up with him and cry and tell him how i feel.(side note: my ex when in my dreams for some reason lives beside my grandmother.) right as im about 15 yards away i stop and i can hear my own voice."what the hell are you doing? 4 times wasn't enough heart break?" and in my dream i wanted to wake up so i couldnt see where i was or where i was going on in my surroundings. and i woke up and i wonder if im starting to be able to slowly control my dreams? i would love to id wake up with more ease everyday. if anyone knows how to practice more lucid dreams i would love to know how i can start seeing things i want to when i sleep.
Asked: I’m really scared of lucid dreams?
Well my friend showed me this writing thing of how to lucid dream on facebook, and I'm just really creeped out now, since it takes me like 20-30 minutes to fall asleep which is about the amount of time it takes for the hallucinations. I am REALLY scared. I feel like it would freak me out even more because I'm claustrophobic. Plus it's 12:30 a.m here, so I'm really tired and I'm scared to go to sleep. How do I keep from having lucid dreams?
Asked: Lucid dreams and astral projection?
Have you ever had a lucid dream or astral projected? I would like to here your experiences if you have.
Asked: When you were young (6-7-8), did you Lucid Dream?
I was wondering about this. Lots of people are talking about Lucid Dreaming lately and how you need to prepare lots before you can do it. But is it normal for children ages 5, 6, 7, 8 to Lucid Dream frequently? When I was that age I lucid dreamt every night. I used to describe it to my mother as my head being a sort of gameboy and each different dream, with different surroundings, stories, plots and characters, as game cartriges. Every night before I went to bed I would just put in a dream cartrigde and have that dream. As I grew older I started concentrating on school and real life more, ect, ect, so I grew kind of out of touch with this side of me. I'm planning to start Lucid dreaming again- do you think I will catch on quickly because of my Lucid Dreams when I was younger? Or will it be just as difficult as everyone says it is?
Asked: How to control your dreams? (Lucid dreaming)?
Last night, I had my first lucid dream. I plan I have more.so I made a long list of things I want to do in my lucid dreams. But, how can I make them happen? Like, if you we're in a garden in your dream, how would you make your self earth bend, or breathe underwater? When i had my first last night, I just told my self I wanted wings, and then I jumped, and I was flying. How would you make dream people appear? Thanks for the help!
Asked: Are there any lucid dreamers out there?
I keep a dream journal for the last two years and have had multiple lucid dreams, but in all the people ive met none of them have the same interest. I was wandering if there are normal people out there my age (19) who do the same thing, or am I alone in this?
P.s. I love who i am and would never change a thing, just want to know if anyone has the same interest
Asked: Are flying dreams actullay astral projection?
I've heard this before and am curious. I've also had falling dreams. Is that astral as well? Oh and I've heard that if you hit the ground when you're falling you die for real. Well, I've hit the ground and I'm still around but the flying puzzles me. It felt so very real. I didn't see myself sleeping or anything like that, just flying.
