I have been looking up a lot of stuff about astral projection lately and i want to try it out!! What are some of the most important things i should know before going there? I am a 14 year old girl by the way.
What are the things i'm supposed to do to get myself to astral project? And how difficult is it?

Last night I was dreaming at felt fully
Aware, I remember thinking as I was dreaming "okay I'm going to focus all my attention right on this dream" right then I became lucid. I went over to my neighbors house and began to kiss her but that's when I woke up, I didn't feel like I was about to wake up but that just triggered it. I feel back asleep immediately after and found myself dreaming again, only this time I gradually found myself aware that I was waking up. Any tips for the first scenario?
I'm a bit new to lucid dreaming as it doesn't happen to me very often.

What does the subjective experience associated with astral projection feel most like: lucid dreaming, self-hypnosis, sleep paralysis, guided visualization, or something else?

Did i have a lucid dream/Sleep paralysis?
Asked: Did i have a lucid dream/Sleep paralysis?
When i was younger i use to have dreams where at some point, a guy would appear in the corner of my eye (he was always the same, and could be as close as in the same room or on the other side of the street) and he would sprint towards me. Now, let me explain why i am not sure if it was a lucid dream or not. in these dreams i was not aware that i was asleep (basically just a normal dream), but when he appeared i was obviously fully aware that i was dreaming. When he appeared, i would just drop to the floor like a ton of bricks and couldn't move or speak, when he reached me he would just stand over me and stare at me until i woke up (all this time i would have a loud buzzing/screeching sound in my head). This would happen every time i had a dream, no matter what, and i would just falland be unable to move and have a feeling of pressure on my chest. That's why im so confused, i had all the symptoms of sleep paralysis but it was mid-dream, which i thought couldnt happen. And i was still in the dream, not in my room. maybe it was just a recurring nightmare, i don't know. if you could shed any light on this for me then please do
I had my first lucid dream but couldn’t do anything?
Asked: I had my first lucid dream but couldn’t do anything?
Iwas dreaming I was in a hospital but suddenly the exits in the hospital were starting to change and I realized I was dreaming. I tried to fly but I couldnt. I was trapped inside the hospital. There were bloody dead bodies and I just started panicking. I tried to shoot one of the doctors with my fingers (super powers) I heard the gun shot but when I looked back he was still alive. Then I just said I want to wake up and headed for a window to jump out but before I got to the window I woke up.
Why couldn't I fly or change the scenery? I felt like I was lucid but still no control.
Did I experience atral projection?

A few weeks ago I had something strange happen to me in my sleep. I think it might have been shortly after I fell asleep, I'm not too sure. But I woke up, in my dream? And I was still in my bed, where I had fallen asleep, and everything looked the same as it should. My room was dark and I began to feel like I was floating. This was an awkward and uncomfortable feeling for me so I tried my hardest to move but I felt very weak and it was difficult to move to the other side of the room, I just seemed to keep tumbling/spinning in circles the more I tried to move. I was floating right beside my bed, only I don't recall actually having a body, it was like just my spirit was there, on it's own. I began to feel very afraid and like I was in danger, I tried calling out to my mother as I slowly moved toward my door but no sound could really come out of my mouth. I was very aware that I was dreaming, but I was extremely conscious, I began to feel so uncomfortable I tried to make myself wake up which was surprisingly difficult to do. But I did wake up eventually and my room looked exactly the same as in my dream. (same lighting, etc)
Was this astral projection or just lucid dreaming?
Why do i keep dreaming this?
Asked: Why do i keep dreaming this?
I usually wake up to my alarm at 7 in the morning, which is the most difficult thing for me. And then i take a shower, get ready for school and have a breakfast etc. and then at some point i wake up again and realize the whole thing was a dream and i have to do these things again. When i "really" wake up, its usually 10-20 past 7. So I guess i probably "unconsciously" wake up when alarm goes off thinking "ugh i have to get ready for school." and then fall back to sleep and dream of gettin ready. This happens at least 3 times a week.
I've been having dreams almost every single night for the past 2 years and when i wake up i remember them in great details. And i found out that if i imagine stuff right before i fall asleep, it somehow becomes a dream. and i can even re-dream like when i wake up from a dream, but want to keep having the dream then i just close my eyes and go back to it. But somehow i cannot control dreams nor do i realize that im dreaming. I lucid dreamed only once in my life. anyway has this ever happened to you? i keep having the dream in the morning and it makes me really tired and frustrated
Is lucid dreaming scary and how do you do it?
Asked: Is lucid dreaming scary and how do you do it?
I read somewhere about how amazing lucid dreaming is and that it's an out of body experience however I've heard others have head scary noises and have had horrible lucid dreams and because you can't move it's worse so I'm scared to do it. Plus I don't know how to do it so it would be nice for someone to tell me how to do it

I asked a question a few hours ago and one of the comments said something about licid dreaming. She told me it has to do with waking up it your sleep or whatnot but she didn't give much information. So if any of you know how to do it and/or what the experience is like, please comment below
Ps: who or what did you learn it from? A movie? An article?

Last night it was like I was between sleeping and dreaming but awake.
I felt numb but pleasurable and couldnt move my body but I could control what was happening in my dream and it felt like real life. I soon awoke out of it though and couldn't fall back into the same wake/dream parallel.

Is the first Astral Projection the hardest?
Asked: Is the first Astral Projection the hardest?
Hello,
this morning I semi-astral projected. By semi I mean I only got my upper right side including head out of my body. It was quite difficult because I was kind of forcing myself into it. I was dreaming but fully awake, and I opened my eyes and realized that I was in sleep-paralysis. Remembering that my brother told me it was possible during sleep-paralysis, while I kept my eyes open, I attempted to lift my right forearm of the bed while looking at it. I was extremely difficult and felt as though my hand was traveling through molasses and I could see a bluish glow around my forearm. Eventually I got my head out and looked back at my arm and saw this substance that looked like a bright bluish liquid and thought maybe that was what anchored our souls into our bodies, because it felt like it was trying to keep my soul stuck down. finally i looked down to where my face was and saw my sleeping self with my eyes closed and so I believe that maybe my eyes had been closed the entire time and that I was seeing with my spirit. (btw to those who have never astral projected but are reading this, there wasn't some bluish or dark tint like the movies portray, it all looked exactly how it does in reality).
So now for my question, Is astral projection the most difficult on the first go, due to kinda breaking the seal with that bluish spirit liquidy stuff? and has anyone else ever noticed that bluish spirit liquidy stuff?
Also, while my head was still in my body but my arm was out, I could see my hand normally but there was a light blue energy like look to the areas that I was moving my arm (however it was more like the after shadow because I'd see the shape but arm had already moved on).
So my other question is, is everyones soul a different colour? or are they all that light bluish colour?
ps: the colour of blue I was referring to was the same as that weapon thing from John Carter.
Lucid dreaming help…..?
Asked: Lucid dreaming help…..?
Alright so I went into sleep paralysis last night.. My body was fully asleep. I just tried to dream, and It never happened.. I waited for about 30 minutes of just laying down (after my body was asleep.) Then I got impatient, and woke myself up, changed positions, and went to sleep. I even took a nap today, and haven't had one. Take note, I have had dozens of lucid dreams before, I just am having a hard time having them, again.
Having too many dreams a night?
Asked: Having too many dreams a night?
I have seen other questions on YahooAnswers similar to this but they don't quite describe my situation. Im a senior in high school and my schedule is different from normal as i go to school every other day instead of each day of the week. When I don't have school the next day, I tend to go to bed at about 2 am in the morning but don't wake up until about 2 pm because of my dreams. It's hard to explain but basically right after I fall asleep I start having fairly vivid dreams. And if I ever wake up in the night and fall asleep again, i start having dreams instantly again. The problem with this is in the morning my dreams seem to like stop my body's natural clock from waking me up? It will be like 11 am and I will start to wake up but my body pulls me back into my dreams and sleep and will continue to do this until its afternoon. When this first started happening I thought it was cool because I rarely had dreams, but its getting to the point where its really starting to annoy me mentally and physically. I don't know if my new schedule is affecting it, but its starting to mess up my sleep schedule because I won't be tired until like 4am the next morning and I will have barely any rest for school. The main reason im writing this question is because it keeps getting worse and worse and last night it didn't even feel like I was dreaming. It just felt more like i was tripping on some drug or something. It may have been astral projection but i don't remember being out of my body, i just remember feeling disconnected or like i was so deep in my dream. Im sorry if this is a hard question to understand its just hard to describe. Thanks for listening:P

Can vivid-lucid dreaming be a cause of an underlying mental illness? Or another cause in general?
Asked: Can vivid-lucid dreaming be a cause of an underlying mental illness? Or another cause in general?
I have been having vivid dream for the past 4-5 months. In the past I could barely remember any of my dreams and was waking up fresh. In the last 4-5 months I remember many – i'm sure not all – dreams from my sleep and I wake up a bit tired and still sleepy.
Whenever I wake up during the night, I can easily go back to sleep and resume my dream from where it stopped. I don't mind it, apart from the tiredness waking factor.
Basically I'm just curious if it means anything else.
Thanks
Is this Astral Projection or Lucid Dreaming?
Asked: Is this Astral Projection or Lucid Dreaming?
So, I've been getting sleep paralysis over the past few months quite 'frequently' (like once a fortnight haha) and I read somewhere that while you are in this paralyzed state you can control or manipulate the world around you, lucid dreaming!
So a few nights past, I got sleep paralysis, no surprises there. xD I started hallucinating as you do, saw dark figures running towards me in the distance. Sleeping on my stomach at the time, my train of thought kicked it and I managed to 'peel' myself out of my body. I then started to float backwards away from the foot area of my bed. I couldn't see anything because, well it was nighttime…
As I was about to go through the wall to the outside world, trying too atleast, I woke up.
What do you guys think?
It was a pretty amazing experience despite not seeing much.
Wil sleep paralysis happen to me again?
Asked: Wil sleep paralysis happen to me again?
so the other day I got up and I had only had about 7 hours of sleep (give or take a little, less than 8) and I got up for an hour-90 minutes and then I went back to bed, I kept waking an being half asleep and being completely asleep, it was going in and outuntil I decided to get up but I couldn't move for like 30 seconds! I was looking at sleep pyralisis and lucid dreams and they were saying to have a lucid dream do why I did and that will make you have a lucid dream which happens when you have sleep pyralisis so I think that maybe me getting up then going back to bed made that happen. is that right?

I've been wondering for a while
If someone can at least answer one question i'll be happy
ever since i was little I've had dreams when i've known that i've been dreaming
i never knew this happened to other people however one day i came across it online.
"Lucid Dreaming" i was wondering is this healthy, and why do i do this
is it just a state of mind, does it mean anything?
also other this to do with dream that i get, like false awaking, why do i get them?
also i had an experience when i was younger when i woke up and someone was siting at the end of my bed, i couldn't scream it just wouldn't come out.
I need help to understand these things? has anyone else had similar experiences?
Does this make me mad and is it wrong i don’t want to stop?
Asked: Does this make me mad and is it wrong i don’t want to stop?
I decided I'd give lucid dreaming a go a while back and I've gotten pretty good at it. I can make up any situation I want and it feels like I'm there, and I can achieve this 3 or 4 nights a week. At first it was just stuff like flying and things you can't do when you're awake, but then I thought it would be fun to make up a boy. Once I'd made him up and met him, I couldn't really stop and every time I dreamt we'd have these really cool conversations and it was like talking to someone else, like he was real. But now I can't really distinguish between what's real and what I'm dreaming and I think I'm in love with this boy. I go to bed at around 6 every night just so I can spend time with him. He takes me to the most amazing places and I can't stop myself from dreaming it. So I think I'm in love with someone I made up in a dream, does this make me mad, is it wrong i don't want to stop and how can I manage it so I'm less obsessed?
