Josiah Alliss Asked: sleep paralysis??? astral projection! O.B.E.?
I have been inducing states of Sleep paralysis to preform what many call Astral Projection.
My issue is every time i enter a Sleep paralysis state i have a horrific hallucination and i wimp out. but my last experience was so terrifying Im not so sure i ever even want to try that again.
As I entered the stage where i became paralyzed and my body was vibrating, I had the usual auditory hallucination of loud static and buzzing, I then saw a figure standing on the other side of my room staring me, what felt like into my soul.. and after about 2 seconds of eye contact, it jumped on my ceiling on all fours but its limbs folded backward to keep eye contact with me. It crawled very fast to position itself over my body over my bed directly above me, it then showed its face to me (up to this point it only showed me its eyes). It crawled down slowly above my head putting its face inches from mine, positioned itself on my bed and sat on me putting its hands over my mouth the whole time staring into my eyes.
I want to have an OBE or astral projection, but i keep having these horrific S.P. experiences and I was wanting to know if there is a way to not have these experiences but still enter sleep paralysis and astral project?

Many individuals do claim to be able to "Astral Project" themselves or as well have "Out Of Body Experiences". This state can come upon you without warning,to some, and as well it can take some skill or practice to achieve this state. Native American Shaman and Holy men / Medicine Men were able to travel to the "Spirit Realm" and this has been interpreted to actually be what some refer to as astral projection or such an out of body experience. Some of the descriptions of their travels are quite compelling. Also within Hinduism and Buddhism there are accounts of methods used to do similar activities and achieve such states as well. It has just been in recent years that it has been rediscovered and become something to take part in. Meditation is said to help in conditioning yourself to achieve this state. It relaxes you and opens you up to your inner self. I would recommend reading and researching this topic. There are so many interesting angles and stories from different cultures. thats not good. people say oh that was a demon and it really does seem like one but i don't think you should enter that state again untill you are less afraid. maybe meditate on a safe bubble. imagine a light surrounding you and nothing can penetrate it.
i have bad and good ones and bad ones can put you off but you need to have a positive state of mind and not be afraid when you feel the vibrations it's worse when you try fight it because you actually can't snap out of it. just relax
