Sleep paralysis and astral projection… I need help?

Amanda Asked: Sleep paralysis and astral projection… I need help?

I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time about 2 months ago. I was having a lucid dream then I got sucked back into my body. When I snapped back in I opened my eyes and saw my room. I knew I was awake, but I couldn't move my physical body. I started getting really scared, I also began to feel a very dark presence to my left. Then I felt as if something grabbed my legs and held them up in the air. I looked at my feet, and they were indeed up in the air without me controlling them. I tried screaming but I couldn't. What was weird about this is that I could actually control my astral body, but not my physical body. Eventually everything stopped on a dime and I was able to move and speak again.

I never experienced it again until this morning, where I had not 1 but 4 consecutive experiences. I had woken up because my boyfriend goes to work early. After he left I fell right back asleep. I woke up an hour or so later in sleep paralysis. I couldn't move, but for some reason once again I could control the upper half of my astral body. I could actually SEE what I'm guessing were my astral arms flailing in front of me when I tried to claw at the air. They were pretty weird looking. I was eventually able to move again, so I went back to bed. I woke up again 3 more times, and each time I experienced the same thing. There were also very disturbing almost demonic noises around me every time I was in the paralyzed state. Heavy deep growling and breathing, and even human crying.

Needless to say I'm pretty freaked out by this. I guess my question is; is there any way to control sleep paralysis when it is happening. Can I gain full control over my astral body and astral project like this? I'm scared but also very interested. I just need some more knowledge about whats going on.

You should read Carl Sagan's excellent book "The Demon Haunted World". He deals with these matters very well and gives a perfectly logical explanation for them. Sleep paralysis is normal and waking from a dreaming state is too. "Astral projection" is a name some people give to dreaming but it is nothing more than that.

I had sleep paralysis so much at one point that I just knew It was not real and did not get scared. I think after you do that you may start to be able to control it. I was never able to do much still though besides know it was not real.

I would say that you are not having just an astral projection alone. There is something added to your experiences that is not too safe.If I were you, (I don't know what religion you are, if any, but…) I would go to a Religious Store and purchase a Crucifix and get it BLESSED by a priest or minister. Then hang it above your bed and ask your guardian angel to protect you and surround you with a "white light" energy. This may sound goofy but, I would say that your intuition of a demonic happening is correct. You need protection externally and you need to put your soul and mind in a state of guardianship during your sleep cycle.Paralysis during deep sleep is a common occurrence but it can also be caused by external entities.TAKE CARE and seek help… don't put it off.My prayers are for you… By the way, I am not of any religion but I have studied spirituality in all forms, for the past 47 years… including the Occult.I do not dabble anymore in the occult of ANY kind as it is too open to dangers. It opens a path to your spiritual nature that sometimes cannot keep you safe from invasion by "negative" forces.Seek help… don't wait.God's blessings to you.
