brandon S Asked: Nyquil and lucid dreaming?

Okay so I developed a nasty cold, and I usually don't consume cold medicine but I really wanted to get sleep so I took some nyquil. I passed out within 10 minutes. I started to dream almost instantly. And as soon as I entered the dream I recall my dream self saying out loud "I am dreaming, I have complete control." It was weird because I felt like I was concious in my dream. I did whatever I wanted and it was so vivid. I've had lucid dreams before but I haven't been no where near this much in power of my dream body. I actually didn't enjoy it though. So my question is, did the nyquil cause this, or was it because im sick? Or both?
