Asked: is it hard to lucid dream?
i THINK i have briefly lucid dreamt once before… i only controlled one thing then i guess i woke up or forgot i was only dreaming. in the dream i was being chased by hungry wild animals, and i told them to stop and they did. it was really cool!
but i was just wondering.. i've never done any sort of, like.. 'prep work' for this, but i feel very confident that i could lucid dream tonight, just because i am thinking about it. also, i have a plan… if i see a red ball roll past me, then i am dreaming. or, if i cant run, or if i sort of float when i jump, then im dreaming.
but i was just wondering… could this work? could it be that easy? i mean, i didn't even know what lucid dreaming was when i had that really short lucid dreaming experience, so i obviously have some natural ability in it, though i still know nothing about it.
Some of the SSRI type sleeping aids (e.g. Ambien, Lunesta) cause me to lucid dream. It can be quite frightening.
I have sh!t loads of these reocurring wannabe nightmare dreams. They were nightmares once but they grew dead on me, so now they make me lucid everytime.
The diffuclty varies. For me it depends on the dreams stabilty + vividness. The more stable and vivid, the easier.
