Maisha Asked: How to lucid dream & remember my dreams more often?
I know that lucid dreaming is becoming aware that you are dreaming and then willfully taking control of your dream, but how can I do this?A lot of people say to do reality-checks, but I never dream.I know this is impossible, since everyone dreams, but I rarely ever remember my dreams, I think I only remember dreams a few times a year.Most of the time, I close my eyes and a second later I open them and it's morning.How can I do reality-checks in my dreams if I never remember myself in the dreams as the dream goes on?
People also suggest a dream journal, which I tried, but I honestly feel as if I never ever dream.):I do not wake up with an alarm-clock (it's summer vacation) and I wake up naturally, but I have insomnia problems, so I usually fall asleep by 4 and wake up at 11 or noon.Is my sleep timing the reason why I can't remember dreams?
I read on a post on Tumblr that said you can lucid dream by laying down on your back with your arms on your sides and your eyes closed when you are completely tired.You will feel like scratching an itch or moving your body into a more comfortable position or 'blinking' with your eyes closed, but you must stay still the entire time.Eventually, you will enter sleep paralysis and when you can't move your body anymore, you can open your eyes (you will see hallucinations) and then you can close your eyes and start lucid dreaming.Does this actually work?
