Yes you can control your dreams with practice the first step is to tell yourself you are about to fall asleep this increases lucid dreams also always have a notepad close to your bed and record what you dreamed this will start showing patterns and you will know when your dreaming.
In short yes you can Control when and how you dream. A word of caution though, the involuntary act of dreaming can help your mind to sort out problems or stresses of your waking life.
In order to induce a lucid dream you must first be able to attain the sleeping body, awake mind state. For most it takes years of practice but there is a simple way to start.
Just after you wake up first thing in the morning (Or evening) instead of jumping right out of bed, close you eyes and maintain a relaxed position. Breath slowly in through your nose (3 seconds) and hold for three Second, and then exhale slowly until all the air is out of you lungs. This breathing technique will help you to remain relaxed but focusing on it will help your mind stay awake.
Now if you have ever day-dreamed and brought yourself back out of it, that's kind of the state of mind you want to have.
Continue breathing, and try to keep your mind blank. The way I keep my mind blank is just stair at the back of my eyelids and concentrate on my breathing. When you start to drift off, and you will notice it, just envision what you expect to see, and do. It won't happen right away but with time you'll be a pro.
Your lucky. I wish i could lucid dream, or at least just have one! But how do u wake up? I wonder how u wake up from a lucid dream? Do u just tell urself to wake up?
