Asked: First time astral projection?
I want to try to astral project. I have never done it before and I have many questions. Is it dangerous? Is it better to do it with the light on or off? Should I use binaural beats? Please give your input. Thanks

Ive read that if you astral project you will see a spiritual body of yourself held on to by a silver string attached to the pineal gland of your physical body so you will never get lost. Ive also read that meditating in the dark and accessing your sub-conscious mind will help further your OBE's (Out of body experiences) The pineal gland is located directly in the middle of your brain and is the access to the universe. If I were you I would pick up a copy of the book called The Source Field Investigations by David Wilcock there you will learn alot about the Pineal Gland and how you can see the world without leaving your room through astral projection and hypnosis. Astral projection is not as easy as some people make it. It takes alot of getting used to your sub-conscious mind. There was an experiment done in that book i mentioned above that investigators put people who could astral project or remote view the world into a dark room where no LIGHT could enter. They put photon light detectors in the room to see what would happen. And bang when they were remote viewing the world through meditation photons were scrambling in that room by the hundreds of thousands. We all know our eyes are the entry way of light but the pineal gland also is called our third eye and it also takes in light. The eyes are the gateway of the universe as some ancient cultures called it. Oh ya i forgot to mention that ancient cultures were also fascinated by the pineal gland and how it could contact a higher intelligence and then we as a people further researched it with greater technologies. The pineal gland has baffled many scientists and I do recommend you get that book i think its only 35$ hard cover
Hey.. it is said that in soul travel all you have to do is ask and your consciousness would do the rest: and perhaps you'll be able to make the moon your first destination, and then beyond. But then there's so much that it can't just be told here… so take the following links

You dont want to do it it is very scary most people who can do it dont want to do it ever
I've done it a couple of times, and it's really cool.
You don't actually leave your body, but it seems that way. You're actually entering a place in your mind, but the mind is a really interesting place.
When I did it, I had someone guide me through the whole thing. It's not dangerous at all, but it's good to have someone talk you through it in case you start getting freaked out.My guide was a girl from India who did astral meditation all the time, and she didn't even charge for her assistance. She preferred Mozart to the binaural stuff, but do whatever works for you.Same thing with the lighting, just go with whatever puts you at ease.
Like I said, it's not dangerous. There's nothing supernatural or paranormal about it, so don't listen to any of those new-age flaky types with the dire warnings of possession and evil spirits.
