Don't know about the demons, but to get to the astral plane, you'll need to take a taxi to the astral airport.

You'll find a guide on the wall near the entrance, but if you want a printed one, you'll have to pay for it.

best idea not to label it all sorts of things can happen when meditating but to dwell on them is to invite spiritual materialism so stay with the process and just accept what you get that way you wont get stuck .

I don't know, I've had some pretty crazy stuff happen to me too. I guess it's possible but it doesn't sound like you were necessarily in the astral plane. They've done case studies where people were brought into altered consciousness and they felt like they were floating but (somehow) the scientists proved their consciousness was still in their body.

Well, you could have been starting to astral project.Or, maybe you were just dreaming.
I don't meditate, but, I do sometimes get into a state in which I begin to meditate IN ORDER to astral project.I've been astral projecting for YEARS.It's a fun thing to do.I guess some might say that I'm in a meditative state when I'm projecting, but, since my soul has left my body at the time and is active elsewhere, I'm not exactly meditating.
Many people say you have to be careful when you astral project, don't let your body fall asleep while projecting, because you might not get back in.For me, if my body starts to fall asleep, my soul just KNOWS this and I go right back to my body immediately.
